Our Policy

Senior Living Communities conducts thorough pre-screenings for all new hires upon employment and continues to uphold the following policies throughout the duration of employment. These policies are to protect the safety of our residents, employees, visitors and contractors.

  • Drug-Free Workplace. We drug test all new employees upon hire. Random and reasonable suspicion drug screenings are continued throughout employment. Drug screens are ordered for all parties involved in work-related accidents.
  • Tobacco-Free Community. Employees are prohibited from smoking and/or using tobacco in any form anywhere on company property at any time. Violations by employees will be immediate dismissal and termination of employment. To read more information, view "Our Pledge".
  • Criminal Checks. We conduct thorough background checks on all new hires and analyze all convictions, including misdemeanors. A conviction of a crime will not necessarily disqualify an applicant from employment. Failure to indicate a conviction, regardless of the recency or severity, will be considered a falsification, which is a disqualifier from further consideration, and if already hired, is grounds for immediate dismissal and termination of employment. If an employee is convicted of a violation of a law during employment, it is their responsibility to report the conviction to their Business Manager.

If you feel you will not be able to successfully meet and uphold any of the aforementioned policies, we ask you to refrain from applying to our employment opportunities. Additional information regarding these policies is included in the Team Member Handbook.
