“Mother Said” Enjoy the Finer Things in Life

Marsh’s Edge, a luxury retirement community located on St. Simon’s Island, Ga., hosted a Mother’s Day Tea on Friday, May 7 to honor the community’s mothers. Members brought their own teacups to the tea party and each shared a story about why that particular teacup was their favorite. The guests also read excerpts from Hal Sirowitz’s hilarious collection of poetry, “Mother Said.”
